We’ve got an exciting little run of acoustic gigs coming up in the next couple of weeks. Kicking off at The Hive at Nenthead this coming Saturday, 8 August — a fabulous restored Wesleyan chapel in the Wear Valley that was packed to the rafters when we played there last year.
The following Friday we return to Ye Old Crosse in Ryton Village. This is a fantastic community-owned pub, which our drummer Colin was instrumental in saving, and we had a memorable sold-out gig there last summer.
Then we conclude our mini-tour at one of our favourite places, The Greenhouse in Tynemouth on Sunday 16 August. We’ve lost count of the number of times we’ve played here and it’s always a great crowd, which is why we keep coming back!
For these shows, we’ll be making a substitution in our line-up; Tom is away on holiday, but we welcome our awesome fiddle player Robin Moody back into the fold!
